Voronezh Mechanical Plant (a branch of FSUE State Research and Production Space Center of Khrunichev) was founded in 1928 and is a Russian engine and heavy machinery manufacturing plant. The plant started as a diesel engine manufacturing enterprise and has been the plant that serially manufactures the engines designed by Chemical Automatics Design Bureau.
In recent decades, the enterprise has worked on liquid rocket engine production for Soyuz, Soyuz-TM, Proton launch vehicles and Progress cargo spacecraft. For now, the plant is developing production of units and aggregates for the Angara family of launch vehicles.
The plant’s experience gathered over the last years allowed us to master the manufacture of a wide range of oil and gas equipment, turbo compressors, composite aggregates for diesel locomotive engines and other equipment.
