JSC NPO Tekhnomash named after S.A. Afanasyev

Technomash Scientific Production Association (a part of Roscosmos) was established in 1938 to produce the artillery weapons, and it has been working on rocket and space technologies since 1946. Today, FSUE NPO Technomash is the main state corporation for space activity enterprise Roscosmos for implementing the Russian Federal space program in the field of technologies.

The enterprise provides aerospace product engineering and manufacturing and develops machine-building technology. It also examines methods for products and equipment standardization and certification and methods for management systems at aerospace industry enterprises.

FSUE NPO Technomash also participates in Russian and international space projects such as GLONASS, Kanopus-V, Angara, ISS, Proton-PM, Fregat, and others.
