JSC Corporation Kometa

JSC Kometa Corporation was founded in 1973 and is a leading enterprise of the military-industrial complex in the area of development of spatial information systems. The corporation structure includes seven design bureaus, departments of automation and documentation, metrology and standardization as well as departments of calculation and design, reliability, and durability.

The enterprise’s activities include the creation of global space systems for surveillance of the Earth and circumterrestrial space and the system for the World ocean monitoring. Additionally, the company develops missile detection systems, as well as special-purpose information-management centers to study background conditions, detect low-contrast objects in various environments and process high data flows.
