The Scientific Research Institute of Space Instrumentation was established in 1958 following the Decree of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
Today, the company’s efforts are focused on becoming a leading developer and supplier of advanced onboard and ground-based navigation equipment designed to locate weapons and military equipment using GLONASS / GPS satellite signals, as well as the equipment designed to improve the accuracy of determining the location of moving objects.
The company also offers its testing centre for controlling the resistance of the electronic component base and radio-electronic equipment to ionizing radiation. The Research Insitute’s core partners for the developments include Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center, ISS Reshetnev and NPO Lavochkin.
