Research Center for Earth Operative Monitoring (NTs OMZ)

Research Center for Earth Observation Monitoring (NTs OMZ) was founded in 2008 to perform the functions of a center for collecting, processing and storing remote sensing data.

NTs OMZ has access to different spatial resolutions from Russian satellites such as Resurs-DK, Monitor-E, Meteor-M and others. Additionally, under the agreements between ROSKOSMOS and the European Space Agency, the Space Agencies of France, Germany, the USA, Ukraine, and other countries have access to the foreign spacecraft’s data. Among which is Quickbird, Ikonos, Eros, Spot, IRS, Landsat, Radarsat, Terra, and NOAA.

Based on data processing, the company participates in the development of monitoring techniques and spacecraft, advancement and upgrade of ground facilities take part in the Earth’s resources study, ecological monitoring, and the World Ocean research.
