Open Joint Stock Company Research and Production Corporation REKOD was founded in 2008 as a joint initiative of Roscosmos and the Federal Property Management Agency for the purpose of ensuring the effective use of domestic and world space potentials for the benefit of upgrading the economy of the Russian Federation, development of its regions and municipal entities.
