Research and production complex of current sources Alternative Energy was founded in 1993 as a spin-off of the Research Institute of Electrocoal Products. The company develops and produces chemical current sources and devices for their maintenance and diagnostics.
The company’s three main areas of activity include the development and mass production of lithium chemical current sources, development and manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries, and production and supply of on-board nickel-cadmium aviation batteries.
The enterprise’s products are actively used on the following space projects – Proton-PM, Briz-M booster, EchoStar-14 satellite, and others.
Except for space, the company actively supplies its products for the aviation and marine industries.
