Orbital Technologies is a Moscow-based company that describes itself as a company of engineers, scientists, and space industry veterans dedicated to opening space for private enterprises.

In 2010, the startup made an announcement that in partnership with the RSC Energia it is planning to build the “world’s first commercial space station”.

The orbiting space laboratory was planned to be able to host up to seven people at a time in four cabins and the planned delivery time aboard the Soyuz rocket was expected to be around two days. The company planned to conduct five-day trips at a cost of around $122 000 – $615 000.

The project deadline was set up for 2015-2016 but presumably, due to lack of funding, it failed. As of today, there is no information about any company’s activities.
