MPEI Special Design Bureau

Joint-stock company Special Design Bureau of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (a part of the Russian Space Systems Holding) was founded in 1947. It specializes in developing onboard antennas, radio telescopes, phase correlation finders, laser stations for precision trajectory measurement, VSAT technologies, optical communication systems, and others.

The company’s main activities include the development and production of airborne and ground equipment for information transmitting, antenna systems development, telemetry systems and ground receiving telemetry stations development, and provision of services for spacecraft control in C, S, X-bands in the international CCSDS formats, calibration of space-based synthetic aperture radars (SAR).
