Joint stock company “Military and industrial corporation JSC “MIC “Mashinostroyenia” (JSC MIC Mashinostroyenia) was founded in 1944 and is one of the leading space and rocketry companies in Russia.
Since the 1960s, the enterprise has been developing space equipment, systems, launch vehicles, and intercontinental ballistic missiles. Some complexes developed at that time are still in operation.
In 1998, the company formed a joint venture with India’s Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) named BrahMos Aerospace for the design and manufacturing of the supersonic cruise missile systems.
Today, the company’s main activities include combat complexes with cruise missiles, strategic missile complexes and launch vehicles, space complexes, systems and instruments, information technologies, renewable power systems, and innovative integrated products of dual technologies.
