Geoscan Technologies (GT) was established in 2004 for the implementation of R&D in the fields of space technologies and telecommunications, geophysics, radio science and space physics, and monitoring of natural and technological disasters with the use of ground-based and space-based platforms.
The company is involved in the development of methods and tools for large magnitude earthquake forecasting, and the design and building of communication devices and systems for the stratospheric & space vehicles (micro, nano, and pico satellites).
GT actively collaborates with a number of enterprises and institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Federal Space Agency, including the Institute of Space Physics and Earth, the Institute of Space Research, and the Rocket Space Corporation Energia. The company’s strategic partner is Mullard Space Science Laboratory (MSSL) at University College London, UK.
One of the most prospective projects of the Geoscan Technologies and Myasischev Design Bureau is M55-Launcher devoted to the creation of the Mobile Micro Satellite Launch System. This system is dedicated to the precise injection of satellites up to 150 kg weight into near-Earth orbit.
