Joint Stock Company Center for Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities Operation (TsENKI) was established in 1994 as a division of Federal Space Agency. In 2000 TsENKI became a federal state unitary enterprise.
The company employs more than 12 000 people and is responsible for the preparation of spacecraft and carrier rocket launches.
The main field of operation of TsENKI is the operation of the objects of Baikonur and Vostochny cosmodromes. TsENKI is also operated in Guiana Space center, where it provided management and ground-support equipment operation for Soyuz LV launches, weather conditions observation, museum activities, LV and payloads monitoring, and performance of Soyuz-ST launch.
