Berd Electromechanical Plant was established in 1958 for the rocket and space industry development and is one of the leading enterprises in Russia, specializing in the production of precision mechanics and electromechanical products.
The plant has its own foundry, which allows producing the blanks from aluminum, bronze, brass, cast iron, etc. The blanks obtained in the foundry are widely used in the manufacture of both civilian and military products. The plant also specializes in the manufacture of dies, molds, non-standard and unique equipment, and tools for construction, engineering, light, food, mining, and other industries.
The investment policy of the enterprise is aimed at updating production assets and improving technologies. At present, Berd has one of the most modern fleets of equipment for plastic molding and metalworking in Siberia.
